Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there! We went to an Italian buffet. Juli, Brian, Hailey, River, Carol, my Mom, Pop-pop and the four of us were at a long table. And we were not the only large party there. It was perfect. And fun to be with everyone. Here's today's picture:

This one is from the Sunday after my first treatment, pre-buzz.

Thanks for all the movie suggestions. I bought Big Fish and a 4-pack of Alfred Hitchcock movies. I also added some movies to the queue. Not sure what I'll take on Thursday.

I'm going to cash in all those hugs you're sending.
God-sightings--I think the conqueror thing was a God-sighting. And I actually dreamed about the "sassy" wig before I saw it. Not my word, but the shop owner's. It's a short hair style. Picture to come later. All these dreams about my hair. Funny.
The last couple of nights I've slept well. Thanks for the prayers! Love, Nancy

Love the pic with your two beautiful boys -- a true reason to celebrate Mother's Day!

Nancy, you're soooo chic with the red hair! Now for some extra sticky glue to keep it on when those microbursts hit Denver! (Maybe I could get you some of that goo the tech used when he pasted the electrodes on my scalp for the evoked potentials test!)

Hope you get plenty of hugs and laughs today.
Jenny

Nancy,
Howdy again! I think all three hair styles are great!
My mom bought her wig during her chemo 12 years ago and she still wears it...much easier than dealing with her other hair she says.
So glad to be in touch with you again...your smile hasn't changed in all these years! and you still look like a teenager...I am jealous!
I will get my email address to you soon...promise!
take care!

It is great to see your photos. Thanks for getting them posted. You know how when a pastor speaks we think "he is speaking right to me"? Well, when I see the smiling photos of you I think your smiling right at ME! I am truly blessed. May you be blessed super naturally today from our Almighty God!

Love - Lori

I love the short haircut and the wig too! Sorry I haven't been reading--both boys got coxsackie, in serial, so the past 2 weeks have been, uh, fun.

Love,
