Nancy,

Your humor always shines through and brightens my day.

Once you get a phone book (try a visit to the phone company office) you should find the nearest Harley Davidson store and take Aaron with you to shop for a "bike." You could also find the address for the nearest tatoo parlor . . .

I'll be praying for you tomorrow. What movie will you be watching this time? Only one more to go after this!

Chemo brain is definitely real. I clipped an article about it from the paper, thinking of you. I'll send it if you like, once you tell us your new address.

Big hugs across the miles!!!

Thinking of you today. I have no doubt you'll get through it with grace and humor, as you always do.

Can't wait to hear the movie review, either! :)

Love you,
Jodi

Nancy,

Here's a funny one about chemo brain.

Yesterday I conpleted day one of three days of 1000mg steroid infusions. They left the IV port in my right hand, covered it with gauze, and gave me a rubber glove to use to protect it in the shower.

Well, I had been feeling a bit spacy, so started to bed. The glove with a rubber band added protected my gauze very nicely in the shower, but then I started thinking about how I'd wash my face in the morning. I thought, I could use the glove and rubber band again. Or, oh!, I could use a washcloth to wash my face. However, what came out my my mouth was, "Or Oh! I could use an umbrella to wash my face." Brian must have thought I was a little nutso, but I had a good laugh just picturing trying to wash my face with an umbrella!

Couldn't sleep last night, in spite of some sleeping meds, so I wonder what will come out of my mouth today after treatment. Probably some real doozies!

Hope you are not suffering chemo brain this time. But if so, just remember to laugh and have faith it will pass.

Luv ya!
