On a celebrating note...
It's been one year since I had surgery. I go for mammorgrams on the 23rd. Start praying. I don't know what to think. How could there be cancer there after all the chemo and radiation? How do I even know for sure? I don't. I do know that the Lord has the plan for my life. Whatever that might be. I know that He got me this far and will take me the rest of the way. I am confident of that.

I think there is a big plan for you, and a lot of that is having to do with your wonderful boys... lots of love going out to you and best wishes as always.
Hey there Nancy!
Wow way too long. . .I have been out of the tech world, even the modern world!! I am ready to blog! So do I just post to your lastest blog or to the blog that I am commenting the most on???
So much to have said in the past. . .I will start with the most current.
Woohoo Nancy, the most remarkable part was your peace that surpassed understanding. Amazing how the Lord gave you such great women in CO to be there for you. I thank Him for that.
Now for the ever sensitive topic: Politics. . .Faith. . . people can go to church, temple, and not even be true to what is spoken by the leader there. So for me it is about a relationship not a religion. Spiritually/Faith is a critical part. Religion is about rules. Yuck. Anyway to the politics, dear friends, I currently am leaning to the Barrack Obama. Yes, I said that. You see, I have to go with what is going to meet the needs of my heart & family. In the past I went with Repulican for pro-life. Now I am going with Barrack because he currently is the only canidate with in-depth information and plan to helping special needs population. When it comes to my priorities for the Americans the veterans who have fought for our freedom, who many are homeless (just WAY too wrong!) are 1st, before Special needs, and then special needs. Special needs would be there even if I never had a child or extended family member with such. Weighing the information, they all are scary but he has that one item that makes him stronger to me.
Let's keep the blog going. . . LLL
hi again!
Okay, so now I am hearing wild things about Barrack and his "church" views - so the truth of the matter is none of the three that are running can seem pretty scary! What can we do? Well, at least I can trust in God. Barrack is out, maybe I will just write in God!!
Nancy, your mammogram will go well, I'm sure... I am sending positive energy your way, but I know you will deal with whatever comes your way. So good luck with the mammo...
The whole religion/politics thing is hard to decide when we're only getting what the TV broadcasts. One of the replies on a previous blog said the same. Since we don't know the three candidates personally, we have no way of knowing if they actually follow through on their beliefs and if their beliefs play a role in their decision making. So I have to take everyhing I see and hear with a grain of salt. Frankly, I wish the media would just stop talking about the election until the end of August. Then we'll know who the Dem candidate is and it'll be all about the November election. At this point, I'm just ready for November to get here...
I have to say, I also like the snopes.com comment - funny!!! :)
My yearly eye doctor appointment is later today. Let's hope it goes better than last year's...
Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!
Jodi
Jodi has a good point. . .keep quiet until August. But then again, after that I would just want it to be January for the new president to be in office. I think even after we know who the dem. candidate will be I still like my idea of writing in "God". There is that day when every knee will bow and every tounge confess He is Lord.
Dearest Nancy ~ I have been thinking of and praying for you since yesterday. I tried to call you from Boulder (we were there for the day with all of our kids -- very cool :) and only had your cell phone in my cell phone and got a very weird, this can't be nancy message ?? Anyway, I am on my way to the vet with my puppy (a long very sad story) and want you to know I've updated my phone with both your cell and home numbers and am going to try again.
I hope that everyone went well -- I've been praying for love, peace, and wisdom ~ for you and your docs!
Love you MUCHO! Sherrie
